I still have my Bible - from Christ Church School (on London Road) Hastings
The Church was built
Originally 1860 - replaced by current one 1885 The Church Hall still remains from the original 1860

Queen Victoria Bible for Good Conduct throughout this school.
I believe an elderly lady left money for FOUR Queen Victoria Bibles
Each year to be presented to 4 students.
I also recall weaving sea grass on the seats of the chairs in the Church - our restoration lessons.
