on 20 May 2025 Carolyn Law said My paternal great grandfather, Thomas Scotcher, used to work at the mill. He and wife Sarah lived in the mill cottages and most of their children were born there. -

By way of introduction, I was researching family history, particularly the history of Baldslow Mill, as I have family connections with this location too. From our family tree Thomas Scotcher is my 2nd great grandfather. My mother was Linda Scotcher.
