Wonderful place to swim and once the fear of the high dive board into the black deep water below was overcome a really marvellous place. I guess it did rain but it always seemed to be sunny and warm [innocence of youth?]

on 03 Oct 2019 Pat said I had to be especially good to get my entrance money in the early 60's. In the winter we roller skated around the very top before they built the chalets. Quite a daunting experience as it was such a long way down to the empty pool.
