on 10 May 2016 Albert said I think this image is from Summer 1958 when they demolished the derelict Royal Oak and the old Abraham's shop. The Royal Oak was off the photo's right edge and Abraham's was on the right edge. The centre section was a bombed site which was demolished in 1953 if memory serves me correctly. -
on 10 May 2016 Albert said Correction: The Royal Oak was at the left edge of the photo.
