on 16 Sep 2018 Aileen Catterson said Doing some family history research and I believe my grandmother's cousin, Oliver Cromwell Martin, might have owned the Tea Rooms. Does anyone have any further information on this? -
on 08 Jan 2019 Tony Waters said When I was a child in the mid 50s I can just remember a tea room still in operation, and the coastguard cottages, or at least some of them, still in situ although derelict and in imminent danger of falling with the cliff. Since then, coastal erosion has taken it all, and more besides.
