The sender wrote ‘I shall be home on Saturday so am sending box on to you as usual’
(This would have been a travelling trunk with all her clothes etc in the age when there were porters on stations to deal with personal luggage.) If she had a trunk for her holiday outfits, how long had she enjoyed the Hastings sea air? -
