on 25 Jul 2015 Donald said Many happy hour spent on this lake in the 50s ' & 60s '. Used to be run by an old fellow called Bob until it was taken over by a husband and wife the 'Fishers' Worked there in 1961 when I was 14 years old.
Why has it not been used for so long? -

on 23 Jul 2023 PAUL BRIDGER said I walked through the park last week and noticed the lack of care re the boating lake, full of weed and silt. What saddened me more was the total degradation of the beautiful bowling green and buildings. The weeds and grass were knee high, my poor old step dad would be turning in his grave if he could see it.
