on 27 Nov 2016 Marion and Anthony Jarram said The photograph of the Priory Mount Hotel brought back happy and treasured memories, as we spent our honeymoon there. 24th November 1958.
We arrived late in the evening, (having asked the taxi driver to take us to a nice hotel), only to find the following morning, fellow guests were elderly residents firmly ensconced for the winter!!!
As we recall, the managers were a Mr, and Mrs King. -
on 28 Dec 2016 John Cameron said I have a similar postcard of this hotel (Lettered B on front), taken at a slighter different position, showing the same cars. You can see the full view of the 3 deck chairs to the left.
