Interesting view of Hastings, looking roughly eastwards towards the West Hill (the patch of green, centre top of the picture).
The view shows the old layout of the tracks and platforms at Hastings railway station, with the Charing Cross line terminating at the platform in the centre of the picture. The Ashford track is the through line curving away towards the top left.
In the 1930s, the station platform layout was reconfigured to use what is there now. The 1930s design was then replaced, yet again, in the early 2000s.
