on 30 Aug 2017 Paul Bridger said Does anyone remember the barbers shop to the left of the pub? owned by Mr Passenger who was not the most gentle of barbers he used to yank your head left and right by pulling violently on your ears, it still hurts 60 years on. -
on 03 Sep 2019 Steve Edwards said I lived just round the corner in Saxon Road. Used to get my hair cut in the barbers. I Remember one time, he spent longer trying to stop the blood from a cut on my ear where his hand had slipped,than he did actually cutting my hair.
