on 16 Sep 2017 Paul Bridger said When I was a child and before the Bourne main road was constructed this was the main road from the seafront/Old Town to Clive Vale and Ore/Rye. Can you imagine two way traffic in this road with busses and lorries scraping mirrors and mounting the kerb to get by. Used to travel on the No.27 double decker from the Memorial to the Kings Head for the princely sum of 2 old pence. -
