Did this hotel change its name, to the Cricketers a Public house that I've had a few drinks in during the 1960's prior to me and family moving to the midlands, my wife was born in Station road.
-
The Cricketers was at the other end of the terrace on the right of the photo, closer to the town and Queens rd.
It unfortunately closed during the nineties, however the building still stands and is now a private gambling club. -
My grandmother worked in this pub in the 1930's.
Is this still a pub.
I will be in Hastings in June and would like to visit.
Take care -
Yes, it's a rather nice pub. Now called Pissaro's. Live music and good food, I would recommend.
-
My neighbours in Devonshire Road became the landlords of The Princes .They were Mr and Mrs Moss..I lived at 14, Devonshire Road.I was born at home there in 1946.
