on 15 Jun 2017 Cliff Mewett said A Milnes Daimler of the Hastings & St Leonards Omnibus Company registered DY 32 or DY 33 as these were the first two motor buses the Company acquired in December 1903 and the only two in that colour scheme.
I wrote and published the history of the Omnibus Company in 1998 and although it is now out of print copies are in the Hastings Reference Library. -
on 08 Jan 2023 Milly said Hello I’m trying to research my great grand uncle who was Clarence Freeland. In 1903 approx he worked for the Hastings motor bus co. Do you have any further info on him please.
