St Helen's Church (Old)
This was replaced in 1869 following severe damp issues. A small portion of the old St Helen's Church still survives at Ore Place, but much of its materials were re-used in the building of the new church.
St Helens Church
The new church was built in 1869 utilising suitable materials from the old church. The original spire was a much admired landmark in the district but was taken down in 1966.
