Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Miles Morales (Moore) is an average kid living in a New York where Spider-Man exists, but he then gets bitten himself by a radioactive spider and starts developing familiar abilities. Hugely imaginative animated adventure which dispenses with the familiar origin story and looks like a comic come to life. Hilarious, original and exhilarating.

Wendy May's Locomotion

Back in the late 80's, Wendy started a club night at Kentish Town's 'Town Country Club' on Friday nights called Wendy May's Locomotion which regularly pulled in 2000 clubbers and is featured in Nick Hornby's book 31 Songs as he was a regular and big fan. seen as a welcome alternative to some of the pretentious clubs in London at the time, there was no dress code and the music was soulful, wild and real.

The story of Rudolf Nureyev (Ivenko), delving into his work and sex life and how he defected from the Soviet Union in 1961. Ukrainian dancer Ivenko gives an intensely physical performance and Fiennes’ light touch as a director makes it something exciting, genuine and naturally sexy.
